Aracelia was born in Mexico City in 1969. She undertook theatrical studies at the Philosophy Faculty of the National University of Mexico. She started my career as an actress in 1988, later as a producer in 1994 and most recently as a director 2001.
 
Aracelia's development in children’s theater began in 1994 in the areas of producing and acting. Her first production was Chocalas poeta by Torri, Guillen and Ionesco, directed by Mario Ficachi. In 1998 she produced and performed in De la A a la Zeta por un poeta by Fernando del Paso, directed by Ruby Tagle, Ivan Olivares and Emmanuel Marquez. In 2003 she directed La extraordinaria historia del pajaro azul by Alfonso Carcamo produced by the National Coordination of Theater of INBA. The project received a grant from the National Fund for Culture and Arts. In 2004 she worked on the opening of Canciones del ombligo de la luna, by Berta Hiriart produced by the VII Music and Scene Festival. She also performed in Niñas de la guerra by Berta Hiriart and Mar de silencio by Robin Kingsland.
 
Aracelia received a Young Creators grant from FONCA 2003-2004 and was invited by ASSITEJ - Germany to participate in the Director´s Seminar in 2005. She is currently working on a new project for children with a text by Ulf Stark.
