The Emerging Companies Showcase is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts -Community Partnerships Market Development Division. The ASSITEJ 2008 International Market Development Initiative provides ASSITEJ 2008 is a one-off opportunity in Australia for these companies to show the world the work they create and present in an international arts market environment in Australia. The Emerging companies will present full productions of their work during the ASSITEJ Festival.
