Travel by Air
Several major airlines fly direct international routes to Adelaide. Delegates may also fly to other Australian gateways and take a short connecting flight to Adelaide.
The Adelaide International Airport, Australia’s most accessible, is located just 9 kilometres, or a 12 minute transfer, from the Central Business District. Festival and congress delegates visiting Adelaide are assured a quick, easy and cheap journey into the centre. Adelaide boasts a new terminal completed in 2005 providing Australia’s best arrival and departure facilities, capable of handling the world’s newest generation aircraft, and state-of-the-art immigration, customs and security services. There is direct international air access into Adelaide from Asia, and also from Europe via Asia.

Accommodation
Whatever the requirements Adelaide can offer delegates a range of accommodation in hotels and serviced apartments. Most properties are located in the city centre, and there is also a wide choice of accommodation along the coast and the greater metropolitan area.
For ease of access, transportation and convenience, hotels and apartments located along North Terrace, Adelaide are proposed because of their proximity to the Adelaide Festival Centre.
