Hosting

Young People and the Arts Australia (YPAA), the office of ASSITEJ Australia and co-presenter of the 16^th ASSITEJ World Congress, is Director of Hosting for the event. YPAA will be providing a range of on-the-ground services for Delegates, including:

Managing the Congress Friends program, which will ensure that visitors to South Australia experience the true Australian hospitality our country is famous for.
Presenting the hosted tours, which delegates can book for upon registration;
Facilitating the international interns program;
Working with the ASSITEJ centres around the world to offer special assistance to potential delegates where needed.

Hosted Day Tours

Australian Wildlife Tour

Visit Cleland Wildlife Park and experience a wide range of unique Australian fauna, including emus, kangaroos, Tasmanian Devils, dingoes, wombats and more.

This YPAA-hosted tour includes lunch, a guided tour of the park, an opportunity to have your photo taken with a koala, hand feeding and park staff feeding of animals, and time to explore the park.

South Australian Wine Tour

Take some time out from the ASSITEJ Congress and spend a day touring through South Australia’s beautiful wine district, home to some of the best wine producers in the world.

The tour is hosted by YPAA staff and includes lunch, visits to several wineries, and stops at local scenic attractions.
